The Rock Ferry Side continued their recent good run of form in the Evo-Stik League Division 1 (North) with an effective if not pretty 2-0 home win against Garforth Town. Sean Richards put the home side ahead on 38 minutes in a game that flattered to deceive. The Second half wasn't much better fayre but Lairds did manage to double their advantage when good work from Danny O'Brien forced Garforth Keeper' Zolna into a mistake as he fumbled the ball into his own net.
