Fixtures, a Visit from WASPS, Club Socials, 'Count's' HAPPY HAPPY hours, Fund Raisers plus anything else we can think off !!!

On the Field stuff......

Saturday

It WILL be a BUSY BUSY day - both on and off the field.

With both the 1XV and 2XV at home and The Club Social in the evening, it's reasonable to assume the Car Park will be packed, so, we strongly advise arriving early, if you want to bag yourself a parking space.

1XV - will host our neighbours from Old Yards at 2.15 pm

Over the last 2-weeks, it's fair to say that the 1XV haven't been firing on all cylinders, however, they have ground out two Away 'W's. The first at Shrewsbury in the North Midlands Plate (7-34), and last Saturday in the League at Old Salts (5-26).

With Walsall losing to Leek last Saturday, the 1XV leap frog Walsall into third spot in Midlands 2 West (North), one point behind second placed Leek and six behind leaders Stourbridge Lions.

Our visitors currently sit in the at the other end of the table, but a valuable 17-8 victory against Veseyans last Saturday keeps them in sight of safety.

Current League positions below -

The last 3 meetings between the 2 sides have ended with victories for 'Camps'. In October last year at Tilehouse Lane the score was 3-26, and last Season 'Camps' completed a double over Old Yards with scores of 0-13 & 38-0.

Squad - Austin Bolger, Adam Willis, Jan-Erik Anderson, Mark Newton (c), Dan O'Grady, Adam Pinfield, Stephen Halbert, Rob Hill, Lloyd Roberts, Simon Edwards, Matthew Clarke, Thomas Fleming, Jonny Betty, Robert Freeman, Mark Lisle, Shawn Lindeque, Ryan Large ,James Hollies

As we have already mentioned, we will then be hosting the February Club Social with Joe Finnan and his 4-piece Beat Combo as well as featuring the return of 'Count's' HAPPY HOUR !

There's been a load of interest in the Club Social, so if you need to get one, make sure you get yourself a Child Minder booked !

If you've not been to one before they're always a good night, and are open to ALL Players, Supporters, Family and Friends.

Joe and his merry Band of minstrels will kick off the first of their sets around 7.30pm, and at some point during the evening, following the ring of his bell, 'Count' will herald his HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HOUR!!!!!

Many of us will know of someone who is suffering, or, has suffered from mental health issues.

It's a condition that is difficult for many to understand, and it's a condition that is very rarely discussed in the open. The MIND Charity is a great organisation that offers support to people with mental health issues. Their web page address is http://www.mind.org.uk/ please do take a few moments to learn a little more about the work they do.

We're very pleased to announce that on 9th May a certain Master Joe Chetland (Aged 9!!!)

We have been told that both Mom and Auntie Chelsea Moore are also doing the run, just to keep him company. So, if you can spare a few ££'s to help Joe reach his target of £1000, please just click on the link below, or feel free to give cash to Nanny (Donna Moore), or Grandad (Paul Moore)
