.....it's going to be another busy Weekend!

We'll not spend too long on last Weekends Senior results, other than to say the Mens 1XV didn't have a good day at "The Office" and were soundly beaten by Stourbridge Lions. With Spartans crying off, the 3XV picked up a friendly fixture at Home against Old Salts 2XV and lost 5 - 24. The Ladies 1XV "met their Waterloo" at Firwood Waterloo where they suffered a disappointing 62-0 defeat.

However, it wasn't all gloom 'n' doom as the 2XV continued their impressive Season with a 12-42 "W" against Stourbridge Lions 2XV. This leaves them still in 2nd place (behind Stourbridge)' but with a game in hand, and a far superior points difference.

Moving onto this Weekend, the 1XV will be hosting Tamworth RFC (2.15 ko). It's fair to say that Tamworth aren't having the best of Seasons. Currently they sit bottom of Midlands 2 West (North) and to date have only have 2pts to their name. These came following their first League game of the Season against Kidderminster, which, was lost 24-26. However, as it has been said many many times before, NO side in this League should be underestimated, and Camps' will need a far better performance than last week's if they are to come away from the contest with a Win.

In comparison to previous weeks, the 1XV injury list is much improved with only Jan Van Der Walt, Sam Matts and Sean Heaney currently out.

However, the list of the unavailable has given The Selection Committee a headache.

Following his travels, Harry Cunningham (inc new hair "do") returns to the Back Row. Sam Parkinson comes off the bench to take the No. 8 jersey. Simon "Barney" Edwards is back at Stand Off. After sunning himself in Thailand, George Wilkinson returns to the Centres, with Jordan Oliver moving to Full Back. The Bench is made up of Adam Pinfield, Jermaine "G-Man" Bernard and Robert "Nobby" Freeman, who all return from injury.

Despite what it says on the Fixture Card, the 2XV will be hosting Luctonians at Home on Saturday (please note this will be a 2.30pm ko), also at Home will be The Colts, who are hosting Southam. The 3XV will be Away at Veseyans.

As we mentioned last week, injuries and unavailabilities have a huge knock on effect throughout all sides. As it stand today, there are just about enough players to field 3-sides. The 3XV have a bare 15 ! - if you are available, or if you've got some Mates who fancy a run out, please contact the 3XV Skipper, Russ Baker on 07789 558265 ASAP - c'mon Boys your Club need a hand !

If you are selected this Weekend, NO CRY OFFS PLEASE !

Award for best excuse for unavailability last week goes to 2XV Front Row & Micros Coach (Ben Love) - couldn't play as he had to take his Girlfriend to The Clothes Show ! - oh, and byetheway, well done to his Girlfriend (Charlotte Jameison) for dropping him right in it!

On Sunday Morning, The Mini's and Juniors will be Training. This is followed by the Mini's Christmas Party. We have had it confirmed that despite his busy schedule, the Man in the BIG red suit will be arriving at some point, also he's very kindly agreed to give his Chief Elf (aka 2XV "Skip" Rory Lynch) some time off to accompany him! - In true 2XV Captains tradition, Rory will be maintaining law & order to the the entrance of Santa's Grotto. So seriously is Rory taking his role of "Santa's Minder", that he's actually invested in his own Elf costume! - also confirmed on the day is an appearance from Scooby and Scrappy Doo with Christmas Karaoke, so make sure you don't miss it.

If all of the above isn't enough excitement for one day, then you'll also be able to watch the Ladies 1XV vs Eccles Ladies at 2.15pm !

We mentioned last week that Tickets for the Family New Years Eve Party are on Sale, and they are proving extremely popular, so, we advise that if you've not already got your tickets, you should get them ASAP.

A Band already been booked - Tickets are just £5 each for Adults, and Kids can come in for FREE - Tickets are on sale from either behind the Bar, or in the Kitchen.

BOXING DAY GAME - one of the Seasons hi-lights is the annual Senior Mens Boxing Day Game. This is open to Senior Players (past and present) as well as those Colts who are eligible. The Meet will be 10.30/10.45am and we hope to get KO as close to 11.30am as possible - as you'd expect the games will be followed by the usual Festive "merriment". Just so we know if we need to book two Refs or just the one (Thanks Rob Cross), if you've not done so already, could you go and reply to the Post on either the Camp Hill Players or Camp Hill Seniors Facebook Pages

As always, best of luck to all sides this Weekend
