UP-DATED on Aug 1

Hi All

Wasps have announced the line up for the Premiership Finals lineup of the Singha 7s.

As a precursor to the finals there's a Community 7s 'tournament' which features the now nearly famous and almost legendary scratch team that is going by the incredibly attractive name of Camp Hill Shambollics. God knows how they're going to get on but if you want a ticket ridiculously well priced at only £10 then just let me know - nigel@incontrolmarketing.co.uk. There will be concessions on tickets i.e. we'll get some freebies but in line with the general nature of the day no one really knows what the hell is going on so we're asking you to wing it - kids are deffo for free.

Rather worryingly it's FANCY DRESS for players and supporters so don't hold back - prizes are available for best efforts!

Wasps are throwing their doors open on Sunday 7th August for the finals of the Singha 7s.

A brilliant derivative of the 15 a-side game, I for one always favoured 7s because it allows you to show off not only your whole range of rugby skills but your pace, fitness and simply pure athleticism.

It's the finale to a month long tournament featuring all the Premiership clubs, you'll be on the telly and it acts as a nice precursor to 7s appearing the Olympics, although obviously as the Russians may be missing, it will be a sad loss to the overall spectacle. Whilst on the subject of spectacles the Singha 7s is preceded at around mid-day by Camp Hill making an appearance - I suspect for one time only - in the much maligned Community 7s. It should be pointed out at this juncture that 7s rugby is supposed to be fun and in typical Camp Hill style no one seems to be taking it that seriously, it'll be interesting to see what happens on the day!

Fancy Dress although not obligatory is advised so no one recognises you, and we may be able to offer a bargain Buy One Get One Free Ticket if we can get the required numbers to commit. In English that means if we can sell a load of tickets we get a load free, but we need to move quickly - like now(!!) and express an interest with names and contact details. Tickets are priced to sell at £10 - yes I know ONLY £10 to watch Camp Hill and hopefully Wasps, if they get as far as us i.e to the Finals Day, running out at the Ricoh. Make it a family day but email now with the numbers you require .... nigel@incontrolmarketing.co.uk

All the best

Nige (aka 'Captain Shambles")
