6. v Beckenham RFC (England)

An excellent game of free flowing exhibitionist rugby was witnessed at Jubilee Park on 29th April 2017 when Beckenham RFC visited Canton RFC.

The visiting tourists struck early on and built up a substantial lead during the first half but the Canton Vets began to put a few moves of their own together to reduce the deficit by half time.

The second half saw passive scrums and rolling substitutions, but the match continued to ebb and flow with some great attacking rugby and staunch defending.

Final Score: Canton Vets 24pts - Beckenham XV 65pts.
