Blues play for Sea View & Opposition!
Cardiff Double Blues members have switched code to Rugby Union for the winter and clashed against each other this weekend!
Unfortunately the Sea Veiw RFC 2nd XV game against Tongwynlais 2nd XV which would have featured Cardiff Double Blues President Ben Coak and Rhys 'Gnasher' Morgan was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.
However, Chris 'Spam' Hann, Gareth 'Reth' Davies, Leon Ford, Joe Maytum and Chrissy Brown who have all played for the Cardiff Double Blues during the last few years played for the Sea View RFC 1st XV.
They 1st XV have reached new heights being entered into the S.A. Brain & Co ltd Mallet Cup, the second oldest cup competition in the world! The team faced Cardiff Saracens RFC at Roath Rec on 05/11/11, which included Cardiff Double Blues legend Jack Wells!
