With over 60 people playing in 6 teams it's been a action packed weekend.

With 3 home games on Saturday it was good to see plenty of people down to watch and the teams supporting each. First off it was a top of the league clash between the women's 1s v Keswick 1s, with Carlisle holding their nerve to come out winners and moving into top spot.
Second up, the women's 2s v Keswick 2s. In a well contested game the youngsters of the Club continue their development, with a final score that doesn't reflect the effort put in by all.
Third up, the men's 1 secured their first win of the season.
Moving on to Sunday, we hosted an U14 festival. With two Carlisle teams playing against Kirkby Stephen and Penrith. Some good hockey all round and many thanks to those who helped organise a great day for the kids.
Finally, the women's 3s travelled to Ambleside with 8 players. Without a keeper and playing against 11 they worked their socks off and never gave up.
So all in all a great weekend for the Club. A big thank you to all the volunteers, umpires, coaches and players.
