Congratulations to Nathaniel Mossop, Thomas Maughan, Jonathan Park and Euan Forlow, who have been selected for the Cumbria Under 18 squad to face Lancashire at Newcastle Falcons' Kingston Park this Sunday 13th January at 3pm

Cumbria, coached by our own Matthew Shields and Graham Kidd, have been unbeaten this season, with convincing wins over Northumbria and Durham, and face a similarly unbeaten Lancashire in what should be a cracker of a game of Colts rugby.

Announcing the squad for this Sunday, Lead Coach Nigel Beaty, said “The response from players, clubs and schools has been fantastic, with everyone available apart from injury for all the games. Another win to make it 3 from 3 would be a tremendous achievement for all involved and put a good number of players in a strong position for selection for the North of England Trial which can lead to England Counties selection”

“This will be our toughest game, when you look at the relative sizes of the Counties we have no chance but the lads have built a strong team spirit and know they can perform even better which is all we can ask for.”

This is a great achievement for Cumbria Youth Rugby and we hope they make it three from three this weekend.
