The club were delighted to hear today that David is one of 3 finalists in the Sports City awards section of this years, the 4th annual, Carlisle Living magazine awards, celebrating the best of the city of Carlisle.

The Sports award is one of 10 special Citymakers awards celebrating the people, businesses and institutions that are helping change the face of the city.

The Citymakers special awards are proposed and decided by the Carlisle Living judging panel, which is chaired by well known Carlisle businessman John Myers.

The two other nominations are John Halpin, Carlisle United FC Football in the Community Officer, and Helen Housby, professional netball player with New South Wales Swifts.

The winner will be announced at the awards dinner and presentation for more than 400 guests at the Garden at Eden, at Eden Golf Club, on Friday September 8th.
