Played at Ashington Rugby club, on Sunday 7th January, two squads of 23 players, split into the Bears and the Hawks, played two sides from Northumbria, with our lads split evenly between the two sides.

By all accounts the players did themselves and their club proud with both sides winning their matches, and playing entertaining rugby.
This weekend is further training followed by another round of matches against Durham on the 21st January at Penrith RFC, and this would be well worth a trip to see the players of the future.
