Steve Kindon played 396 times for Burnley, Wolves and Huddersfield Town between 1968 and 1982, scoring 109 goals. He was a favourite at all his clubs, and even played one match in goal after the keeper was taken off injured.
He has spent a number of years since retirement on the after dinner circuit and as a result is one of the most accomplished speakers around.
He has a wealth of tales to tell about the days when players had perms and the First Division really was the First Division and when he last came to Stoke Lane eight years ago, he brought the house down.
The Tank is returning so book your place at the club's Easter function. The price is just £30 for members and season ticket holders to include a Hog Roast and salad bar and, following the success of the club's Christmas functions in recent years, the event will begin at 1.00pm.
Tickets available from the Chairman or behind the bar.
