Carlton Town have confirmed the details for their first ever real ale festival, to be held over the weekend of 13-15 July 2012.

The event, run in conjunction with the Navigation Brewery, a microbrewery based at the Trent Navigation Inn next to Notts County's ground, will feature ales from near and far.

There will be food and entertainment alongside the range of beers and ciders, with Great Northern Inns on the organising team as well.

Along with beers from the Navigation, there will also be a number of ales from other local microbreweries, including Lincoln Green and Flipside.

There will also be some beers from further afield, with at least 25 ales likely to be featured.

In addition to the beers and ciders, there will be live music on each of the three days, and food will be available.

The festivities kick off at 5.00pm on the Friday, with midday starts planned for the Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is just £5. This will include a programme, commemorative glass and a voucher for one drink. CAMRA members will receive an additional drink voucher on production of their membership cards. And best of all, a single ticket is valid for the entire weekend, so for those who wish to try and get through all the drinks on offer, but may feel it a bit much to do in one go, the opportunity is there.

The Club is also investigating the possibility of allowing some camping on-site during the weekend - keep an eye here or on the official website for details.
