Carlton Town picked up only their second win of the season when they beat Brigg Town 3-1 at Stoke Lane.

The Millers dominated throughout. The first somehow remained goalless with Alexander Troke, Junior Ogede-Uzokwe and Joe Brothwell all going close.

Carlton got the goal they deserved on 58 minutes when Lee Potts rounded off a fine move by firing home Jamie Walker's cross.

Two minutes later Troke doubled the home side's advantage when his free kick eluded everyone and landed in the corner of Robert Zand's goal.

Walker wrapped up the win with 12 minutes remaining, slotting past Zander from the edge of the box, before Dan Buttle grabbed a late consolation for the Zebras from the penalty spot.

A full report will be on site over the weekend along with Lou Lardi's photos.

Carlton are back in action on Tuesday, at home to unbeaten league leaders Sutton Coldfield Town.
