Carlton Town finished a second successive away match with nine men as they drew 1-1 at Ossett Utd this afternoon.

Riece Betram headed home on 63 minutes to earn the point after Tom Greaves had put the home side in front 12 minutes earlier with a free header from a corner.

But the game ended in some controversy as both sides failed to keep 11 men on the pitch. With the game in the fifth of the five scheduled added minutes Ossett were awarded a corner. Jack Steggles dealt with the flag kick but some nonsense between Oliver Robinson and Jason Burke led to both being sent off.

As a result, the referee added another four minutes to the game, during which Tyler Blake managed to get himself a straight red for a late high tackle/foul.

Carlton held on to earn a point which still saw them drop to 17th in the table with 23 points from 24 games.

The Millers return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Newark Flowserve in the Nottinghamshire FA Senior Cup.
