Having picked up York City following the Minstermen's Fourth Round Qualifying win against Blyth Spartans, it was off the County Ground in Swindon. And with Swindon winning and being drawn at home to Woking in Round 2, they'll be going back - or will they?

Swindon v York

Well it’s a while since I’ve been to the County Ground with The Posh and not a lot has changed! If anything the ground looks a bit neglected and unloved.

We arrive by train at approx. 13.40. Quick trip over the road to quench our thirst first.

A good following from York with approx 400 following fans

We meet a guy named Joe from Bristol who follows York on Fifa 19. It’s a strange ole world! He only came because he was curious!!

The game itself played out a pattern of Swindon possession and the odd York foray, to be expected but for the biggest gate (3700) of our cup journey so far the atmosphere was poor especially from the home fans.

York equalised just before half time which we missed due to hunger and a desire not to queue

Final result 2-1 Swindon

Not the best game we had seen so far but pleasing never the less.

A quick stop at the Polish Supermarket to pick up some Tyske, then back on the train.

A quick hello to Yorkies Olly and Dave whom we entertained on the journey home!

So onto the next round
