Carlton Town came from 2-1 down at half time to win 4-2 in a friendly at Hucknall Town this afternoon.

Aaron Evans gave the home side the lead on 28 minutes when he fired home from close range.

Tony Law equalised five minutes before half time when his shot took a heavy deflection to wrongfoot the goalkeeper, but the Yellows regained their advantage within two minutes when Leon Akeman fired past Curtis McDonald.

Wayne Scott made wholesale changes at half-time as he looks to decide which players will be involved in the forthcoming Evo-Stik campaign, and in the second period the Millers looked stronger and sharper than their opponents, who had had the better of the first half.

Anthony Oleka headed home unmarked to level on 50 minutes and three minutes later Kameron Campbell gave the visitors the lead with a 30-yard effort that may have been intended as a cross.

Oleka wrapped up the win in the last minute, firing home from the edge of the box.

Carlton return to action next Saturday away at Staveley Miners Welfare.
