Carmel's First XI secured eighth place in NWCL Division One in their debut season following a six-wicket win over Buckley.
With survival already achieved skipper Barry Mcgauty targeted a sixth win of the campaign and his players duly delivered.
After inserting Buckley at Pen-y-Gelli Finn Hulbert (3-11) did the early damage with the ball alongside Aussie paceman Dylan Campbell (1-23).
However, it was Johnson's swing which proved most effective as he collected 5-28 from 11.3 overs - his maiden five-wicket haul for the First XI.
Captain Mcgauty (1-22) also chipped in with a wicket as Buckley were bowled out for 127 in 39.3 overs.
After the tea interval Opener Danny Owens (37) rode his luck as he and Campbell (27) put on 82 for the first wicket.
An error of judgement from Daniel Sim (9) saw him clean bowled leaving a straight one but there was never any danger of a collapse.
Hulbert (21) and Oliver Saynor (18*) both played aggressively to get Carmel over the line in 28.4 overs and seal a 13-2 points success.
