Luke Bodman struck a composed 45 as Carmel's 3rd XI lost by seven wickets to Abergele in their final match of the NWCL season.
Asked to bat first Carmel posted a modest 111-5 from their 40 overs with Bodman making the top score for the visitors.
Youngster James Tyson (20*) caught the eye as also made double figures.
Left-arm seamer Evan Collett (1-9) claimed an early wicket after an impressive opening burst following the tea break.
However, Luke Bodman (1-28) and brother Matt (1-19) were the only other players able to take wickets as Abergele reached the total in 25 overs.

Carmel ended the season in ninth place in the final NWCL 3rd XI Division standings on 79 points.
