The name for the club shall be: Carnforth Rugby Football Club.
The Club shall be affiliated to the Rugby Union and the Lancashire
County Rugby Football Union.
The colours of the club shall be Green Black (Jersey Green and
Black 3%" hoops, Shorts Black, Stocking Green).
The officers of the dub shall be: President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman,
Secretaries (Main, 1st Team, Fixture, Social, Commercial,
Subscription), Treasurer, Club Coach, Captains and Vice Captains of
all teams except Colts Team. Three members of the club.
There shall be elected at each Annual General Meeting the officers of
The officers of the club shall elect three members to form a
committee to be called the Selection Committee. The committee will
also include the Club Coach and Team Captains. The Club Chairman
or Vice-Chairman are also eligible to sit on this Committee. The Club
Coach should be Chairman of the Committee and shall have a vote on
selection issues. In the event of a hung decision his vote shall be the
casting vote. In the event of the post of Coach remaining vacant the
elected 1 st Team Captain shall act as Chairman. This Committee shall
be able to co-opt members of the Club as it thinks fit but they will
have no vote. The Team Secretary/Secretaries should attend every
meeting but be excluded from voting. The captain of the Colts Team
shall not be eligible to serve on this Committee.
Every candidate for membership of the Club must be proposed and
seconded by a member of the Club on the approval form, and
persons may not be admitted to membership or be admitted as
candidates for membership to any of the privileges of membership
without an interval of at least two days between their domination or
application for membership.
There will be a category of social member, who will not be permitted
to serve on any committee nor shall they be entitled to vote at the
Annual General Meeting.
Subscriptions are due following the AGM. After the 31st
October the selection committee will select those players who are
designated fully paid up members.
