The 1st team play arguably their most important game of the season on Easter Monday when they travel to Lancaster to play Vale of Lune A in the annual Andrew Crowe Memorial Shield. Lee Moorhouse will not need any team talk as this is the game all the club members want to play in. This special game, always a popular event, will kick off at Powderhouse Lane at 3pm. Andrew played for the Vale colts as a youngster before plying his senior trade at Carnforth for many years and is regarded as one of the best prop forwards the club has had.

Peter and the 2nd team face another crucial game (they all are at the minute) when they travel to face Preston 6ths in a rematch of their last game. The excellent victory saw them regain 2nd spot in the table and another victory will move them closer to promotion. With Thornton already promoted and deseverdly so, the games against Preston and Lostock will be vital if the 2nds are to chase their dream.
Preston, Lostock, Furness and Kirkby Lonsdale all have a chance of grabbing the 2nd promotion slot in a tight finish.
