Saturday saw two full sides fielded against two strong opponents. The first team travelled to Pendle confident of victory but a stunning first 20 minutes from the hosts left Carnforth too much to do, a 45 - 24 defeat after a comeback looked possible. Liam Hall with another two tries, Dan Helme and Jason Waterhouse grabbed the tries as we claimed a bonus point.
The 2nds entertained Chorley 2nds at Kellett Road, again a good game of rugby but a 22 - 39 defeat, Joe Harrison(2), Dale Lowrie and Matty Lovering notching the tries.
