weekend preview 28th january

1sts away - 2nds at home

This weekend sees a full league weekend in North Lancs 2 and Division 5 North. The first team travel to East Lancashire to face Colne and Nelson - a team languishing at the wrong end of the table. However since the game at Carnforth earlier in the season, Colne have put together some excellent results - especially at home. Colne as ever, will be a tough encounter on their own pitch and we look forward to seeing good friends again.

The 2nd team have the task of facing Blackburn 3rds at Kellet Road this weekend, a hard team who are rarely beaten. They currently lie 3rd in the league but have a couple of games in hand which should take them to a promotion slot with Chorley 2nds.
Steve Ralston will be in charge, his first game at Carnforth this season.
We welcome Carl and his Blackburn players, supporters and officials along with Steve back to the clubhouse afterwards.

Both games kick off at 215pm
