Following our move into the Raging Bull leagues as one team club - we were able to gain a first victory of the season against a spirited and determined Fleetwood outfit.
Carnforth did not have things their own way as the visitors dominated the first 20-25 minutes with some excellent play.
However Carnforth were able to gain victory with a strong second half performance with Jack Edmondson grabbing 35 points (5 tries and 5 conversions), skipper Dan Blenkharn with a hat-trick and Graham Rich also scoring a try.
Many thanks to the Fleetwood contingent for their time in the clubhouse and also thanks to the Wigan RUFC 1st xv squad for their visit to Carnforth for a couple of hours.
