Match Preview

This saturday sees the final league game of the 2016/17 season as we travel to face an in form Trafford MV outfit. The Manchester based side were in danger of dropping out of 3 North after a mixed start to the season but a tremendous run over the last few months have seen them move clear into 7th place. The game at Kellet Road way back in September saw Carnforth take the spoils 27 - 15 in a tough opening game to the season.
As Trafford have gained victories over the last few months we have struggled badly with injuries/work/holidays but we travel to Trafford knowing that we will finish 4th which is very respectable after two successive promotions - i congratulate all the players for their efforts.
Kick off is at 3pm - all support welcome.
