At the end of the 2006/07 season Carniny Youth Football Club donated some of their old strips to Coaching for Christ. Coaching for Christ (C4C) was formed in 2004 as a Christian ministry to present the Gospel through the medium of football to young people - both locally and internationally.
In October 2007 the team travelled to Kenya to coach young people in the Kisumu area. During this time they had the privilege of playing a match against a locally formed team of 17 & 18 year olds to which they presented a football strip kindly donated by Carniny Football Club, Ballymena. Coaching 4 Christ would like to thank Carniny Football Club most sincerely for their kindness in donating the strip.
