The Teenage Kicks Youth project welcomed to their opening session Mr. Mike Gourley from the locally Ballymena based Start 360 programme based in the town. Mike was able to relay his experience in working with young people and along with his interesting talk, he displayed a number of props and involved the young people in activities, which fitted in to the Carniny project theme of Enjoying Soccer, is much more better than Alcohol, Drugs or Anti-social Behavior.
The next session is due to be held on Wednesday 22 February 2017 at Ballymena North Business and Recreation Centre and any young person wishing to join in can do so by contacting Billy O’Flaherty on 078 5066 9666. The project is FREE to participate and culminates with a Karting session and fun night at Raceview Karting Centre, Ballymena.
