Club coach, Simon Boyd became the latest official within the club to have completed the UEFA B licence to join those who have already achieved or are en route to achieving such a distinguished honour. Simon has been a member of the Carniny club since the age of eight both as a player and a coach. Simon, who is employed as a school teacher has worked with various age groups within the club and last week assisted the coaching staff from Sunderland/Foundation of Light at the clubs week long coaching event.

Club Secretary, Billy O'Flaherty MBE congratulated Simon on reaching this level in football coaching and stated,' Simon has always been a great example to his peers and I have no doubt he will continue to climb further up the coaching ladder and I speak on behalf of all at the club to wish him every success in the future.'
