Last weekend saw Carniny’s senior team lead the way when they won their league match against Ahoghill Rovers. Elsewhere there was a reduced fixture list due to the bank holiday and weather postponements. That meant no action for the three U8 teams and two Under 10 teams.

There was action however for the two Under 9 teams along with the U10 Colts and girls teams who enjoyed playing at the IFA SSGs at the Showgrounds on Saturday morning.

In the SBYL games all three teams lost out by the single goal in what were very tight games with the U11, U12 and U14s losing out to Ridgeway Rovers, East Belfast and Ards Rangers respectively.

Only the U16s were in action in the National league with the boys losing out to table Limavady Youth. The Under 15s will play mid week against SOPFC.

The club also wrapped up its ‘Teenage Kicks’ programme funded by the Mid and East Antrim PCSP with a free night at Raceview Go Karting for all the teenagers who took part in the programme. The club would like to give a special thank you to management committee member, Chris Waring who did an excellent job in organising the worthwhile programme.
