Carniny Amateur and Youth FC were delighted to finally receive their Irish FA Club Excellence Mark Club Accreditation last week from the IFA’s Club Excellence Mark Coordinator, Diarmuid O’Carroll .
The IFA Club Excellence Mark is a football specific accreditation scheme which clubs can embark on to try to improve the way their clubs are run. The FFA Club Excellence Mark is a strand of the Irish FA’s club and volunteer capacity building programme which forms part of a Sport in the Community programme, a partnership with Ulster Rugby and Ulster GAA with support from the Department for Social Development (DSD).
Carniny Amateur and Youth FC is a community orientated club that have demonstrated a commitment to best practice in the running of their football club. The focus is on club governance, duty of care, games & coaching development and community outreach and in achieving the 1-star level of IFA’s Club Mark Carniny Have shown a dedication to best practice in all of these areas.
