There was to be no game action for the older teams at the club last weekend but all the younger teams were in action in their respective leagues.

It was cup joy for the U14s as they progressed to the semi finals of the NIBFA National League Plate competition with a 2-0 away win in the north west against Derry outfit Maiden City. This was perfect send off for the boys who will take a break from their domestic season when they Travel to Sunderland AFC next weekend for training, matches and an opportunity to see Premiership action with Sunderland taking on table toppers Leicester City.

The Under 13 s recorded back to back wins when despite playing with ten men for most of the second half against Abbey Villa they came away withal three points in a seven goal thriller.

In the Lisburn League the U11s exited their league cup against carrick rangers whilst the U12 ‘Youth’ team lost out to Loughgall. In the North West league The U9s and 10s took on tow Ballymoney teams with the 9s losing out to an ‘Academy’ side and the 10s winning against a ‘Colts’ side.

The Robinson’s supermarket sponsored Football Development Centre resumed after a short Easter break at it’s usual St Louis Grammar School venue.
