PLEASE SUPPORT THE TEAMS! Sponsor A Ball
Cartmel is the leading cricket club in the Grange peninsular and draws players and other members from all the local villages, not to mention the town of Grange-over-Sands itself.

We run two senior teams in the Westmorland Cricket League, often competing against clubs from much larger centres of population such as Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth, Milnthorpe and Ambleside.

We have also entered teams at Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 levels in the junior section of the same League. On practice nights, we now have some 40 juniors between the ages of 7 and 16 (mainly boys but also some girls) who receive coaching from our ECB-qualified coaches and enjoy their cricket on our historic ground in the heart of Cartmel racecourse where we have been established since 1852.

With only 30 senior players to call upon, this commitment to junior cricket from our senior members in terms of their time is considerable, as is the expense. Balancing our books is increasingly difficult, and to help us keep the game of cricket alive in this small rural community, we ask local businesses to consider sponsoring a match ball(s) at a cost of £25 each (which includes social membership of the Club for a named individual).

During the match at which "their" ball is being used, sponsors' names appear on a board above the Pavilion door, and are also listed on our website, where we feature the business details/ logo and provide a link to associated websites.

Additionally, sponsors' names are acknowledged in our annual fixture card.

If you are willing to support us or know of someone who would be please download the "Ball Sponsor' form (below) and complete and return it with a cheque in favour of Cartmel Cricket Club, to the Hon Treasurer at the address shown on the form

Thank you.
