The 160h Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place in the Cartmel Institute building at 7.30 pm on Wednesday, 15th February 2012 and you are cordially invited to attend.
Please feel free to invite any potential new members to attend with you, either playing or non-playing.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Only fully paid-up members are entitled to vote at the AGM.
- Please submit any apologies for absence to either the Chairman (Jeremy Voakes), Acting Secretary (Dave Howard) or Treasurer (Peter Wright)
- Changes to Club rules: in order to update and clarify how the Selection Committee operates, we have drafted a proposed rule to replace existing Rule 15 and this change will be put to the AGM for consideration; any proposals for additional amendments to Rule 15 (or any other rule change) must be submitted in writing to the Acting Secretary at least 7 days prior to the AGM.
- We will be holding the usual elections for office as shown on the Agenda – if you would like to nominate someone, please check with that person that they are willing for their name to go forward, find a third party to second your nomination, complete the nominations slip, and return it to either the Chairman (Jeremy Voakes), Acting Secretary (Dave Howardyour own name for election, please complete and return the slip to us as above; if you do not have a proposer and/or seconder, we will endeavour to find one during the meeting.
