castleford travelled to eastmoor looking to bounce back to form, with the slope and wind in their favour it was important the panthers started well and depite tackling well and keeping their opponents at arms length it was their failure to keep hold of the ball that was preventing them making any in-roads.

eastmoor then scored an oppotunist try against the run of play to take a 6-0 lead, the panthers continued to dominate and strong runs from adam brough and josh farr put the panthers onto moors line before luke hands showed good strength to open the panthers account with jake sweeting converting from outwide to level things up.both teams continued to spill the ball in a error strewn half but it was eastmoor who struck again to take a 10-6 half time lead.

a much improved second half from the panthers with jake smith, danny thompson both taking the ball forward well while in defence strong tackling from louis wilson, jake sweeting, jack crane, kiran martin, ben green, kieran french and dec ellis kept moor pinned on their own line and that pressure told when the panthers forced an error with josh farr picking up the loose ball to score with hands unlucky to see his conversion come back off the posts.try has they the panthers couldnt force their way over the line to take the lead and they were made to pay in the dying moments when a kick wasnt dealt with and moor dropped on the loose ball to win the game.jack appleyard, george steel, greg savage, joe walker, charlie sykes and connor woodfield showed up well.
