Club Tournaments
In 1999 we held our own inaugural 6 aside football tournament, which has now become an annual and highly successful event. Indeed it is now regarded as one of the best and largest football tournaments in Northern England attracting teams from many areas of the country. The tournament has become so successful that we have had to limit the number of entrants in most age groups. It is a well supported and popular tournament with many clubs returning to participate every year since its inception.
The tournament is for age groups, U10, U12, U14, U16, and Open age. We have the capacity at our venue to have seven pitches available on the day, two of which are reserved for the Open age group which last year attracted twenty teams.
All the clubs facilities are available on the day which includes, a fully stocked bar in the club house, barbecue, cafe, for tea/coffee and a selection of homemade foods, for those who prefer pie and chips or confectionary to burgers. Behind the scenes to make the day as successful as it has become, the efforts of our dedicated team of volunteers is as always invaluable.
