On Saturday a coach full of Crusaders will be up and at it, bright and breezy, for a trip to Wembley Stadium.
Saturday is the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final between Wigan Warriors and Hull FC and a number of Crusaders Juniors have the honour of escorting the players onto the pitch prior to kick off.
At the moment it's not clear which team Crusaders will be escorting, however, at least one family should be elated as we have supporters in both camps. Buddying up in next seasons U12's Ryan Wilkinson will be hoping it's the Black and White of Hull he's escorting on, whilst team mate Liam Lee will have his fingers crossed it's the Warriors. Which ever team it pans out to be, both lads will still get up close and personal with their hero's in the tunnel at the iconic stadium and are both looking forward to the day.
Saturday marks another day that Crusaders have had to create great life experiences for their young players. Earlier in the year, our U8's took to the hallowed turf of St James Park on Day 1 of Magic Weekend, between matches, to have a game of their own. On Day 2 other junior players got take out the Salford flag before their game.
