On Saturday, Crusaders Open Age make the long journey north to Edinburgh to take on Edinburgh Eagles in the Semi Final of the North east Rugby League Cup.
Despite the long journey Crusaders again travel with good numbers for the fixture and are at almost a full complement. Following the withdrawal of Peterlee from the Open Age competition Jamie Frazer will make a debut return to the club for the match. Also making his debut is Jay Davidson in the centres.
Crusaders mission for the game is to settle in quickly and take the Eagles as we find them. After squeezing a Golden Point win over Storm but a fairly comfortable win over Jarrow, the form book was flipped on its head so the team we look to take care of it's own business as individuals with the hope that this galvanises a team performance to take care of whatever Eagles have to throw at us.
