Once again Bay skipper Steven Mason put in a man of the match performance as they tormented Athletic to a second cup final defeat in three weeks. Cemaes took the lead on six minutes at Llangefni's Lon Talwrn ground, when Ryan Folksman put in Huw Torr, who crossed for Mason to drive home.

Cemaes doubled their advantage six minutes later, with a Mason strike which went in off the post. Captain fantastic Mason struck once again on 16 minutes with a thunderous strike from outside the area to complete the hat-trick.

Although Valley Athletic did pose a threat towards the end of the first half, Cemaes held onto their half-time lead and made it four-nil on 62 minutes, when Huw Torr headed home a Dan Jones delivery.
