Challow won the toss and elected to bat following the positive results of the last couple of games when batting first. James P (9) and Oliver strived away until Oliver got a jaffa and was bowled for 0. Jack added 6 and Ben came in to add 14 before holing out. Harry (26) and Alex K (18*) batted well together - Badge's big hitting was complimented with Alex's measured strokes; Dan added a useful 7 to close the innings at 95 for 5 after 20 overs.

The Bicester lads were consistent with their scoring but they lost wickets regularly and were not scoring freely enough; our boys bowled and fielded well to make runs hard to come by. Jack took a good catch at gully and there were numerous athletic stops during the innings. James P was unlucky to take a ball off the end of his thumb behind the sticks. He had to leave the field for treatment which meant closing ranks and working that extra bit harder to make sure the gaps were covered. James W was very tidy with 0-7, Girish bagged 1-18 and Ben scalped 2-13. Alex and Dan were taken to task but they bowled well at a stage in the game where hitting out was required. Charlie claimed a wicket for 6 runs off 2 overs towards the end. Bicester slumped to 83 for 6 after 20 giving Challow the well earned win.

Well done lads, see you all at training next week.
