King Alfred's Head- new management
For some of you, you will have noticed that our kit sponsors the King Alfred's head has been taken over recently. The pub is now owned by
Urban Rural Leisure and is currently being run by Neil Hampson and his team. They have been very busy bee's giving the pub a bit of a make over not only in decor but a new menu also. the team have also put together some themed evenings, and also for free you can hire the function room for 20 people.
The prices have also been lowered which is always a bonus for us girls when we go for our meetings and after training drinks! For those of you that like a night out in Wantage, there is a new cocktail menu and on a friday evening there is a 2 for 1 on the bubbly cocktails from 4pm to closing. Whooooo!
