Chard Town v Radstock Town - Wed 26/08/2015
Chard Town & Radstock Town rivals for many years provided a good crowd with a competitive contest with some well balanced football but neither side could score that vital goal and the game finished at 0 - 0.
Early in the first half a shot from Ed Butcher was just saved around the far post by the 'keeper.
Butcher was giving the visitors defence all sorts of problems until he was replaced by James Boyland on 37mins due to a shoulder injury.
Boyland immediately got into the game with a good through ball but the scoring chance was not taken and the sides went into the break on 0 - 0
In the second half with end to end play both sides pressed for an opening goal but good defensive work and missed chances in heavy rainy conditions saw the game finish goalless on the final whistle.
Subs: James Boyland for Ed Butcher 37mins
Max Westlake for Shaun Wells-Burr 62mins
