There won't be many of you who don't know about the last 20 or so hours for Stephen Sutton.
On Monday he was taken into hospital with a collapsed lung and said his "goodbyes" on Facebook while he had the opportunity to do so.
Comedian Jason Manford, local footballer Stan Collymore and many, many more people hooked onto Stephen's Story and from around £600,000 raised this time yesterday further publicity on Sky news, BBC news, local, national and international newspapers an Radio 5 Live to name just a few sent his giving through the £1,000,000 mark.
A year ago, Chasetown FC and our Supporters Club helped to raise £4,000+. That seems like pennies now to what Stephen has achieved since and we continue to send our thoughts, prayers and good wishes to Stephen and his family at this difficult (but amazing time) for them!
