Due to circumstances (i.e. entry coupon built weeks in advance) this week’s coupon included only 7 valid games, as the Macclesfield vs Woking game, was brought forward & played earlier on the 6th December instead.

This left the football pools panel no option but to void this game – see here.

So therefore for this week only, the Aim-4-8 became effectively an Aim-4-7 competition & to add to this, due to FA Cup involvement Dover vs Grimsby & Gateshead vs Wrexham fixtures were decided as per pools panel - see here.

With both matches declared HOME wins, as per rules, these matches were taken as 2-0 HOME Wins for the purpose of the TOTAL GOALS column.

There were therefore 24 goals for the ‘derived’ total, across all valid games.

All this meant that the winner was TREVOR YOUNGMAN who wins £375 in TOTAL (£325 Jackpot plus £50 Weekly Prize) for his £1 Stake.

The JACKPOT prize will now start again to be a modest £100 for Week 22.
