It’s a cliché to use the expression “twelfth man“ but when your supporters make that much noise, as a player you naturally try that little bit harder to repay their faith in you.

When you get behind the boys as you do, it makes this place very special and we have had some great Tuesday nights in the FA Cup down The Scholars Ground and let’s hope tonight’s another one.
The lads were all talking about the supporters in the dressing room after the game – they really feel that you are on their side and want them to do well, and they want to give back to you what you give to them.

With your support tonight, you can push us over the winning line and we could well be on the verge of another cup run.

I’ve asked for these notes to be put on our website and twitter ahead of the game as I know not everyone buys programmes. I just urge you to bring someone along tonight who hasn’t been for a while – or someone you work with or go to school with who’s never been before.

Our effort and passion to win the game is special at the moment and when you are vocal and noisy we can achieve a lot!
