Play Off Update

Alvechurch's win meant that we can no longer get automatic promotion, so the highest we can finish is 3rd.

Our draw meant we can no longer finish below Corby, so the lowest we can finish is 9th.

We are currently 5th, so if things remain as they are, the play offs would be

Tuesday 1st May
Frickley Athletic (3rd) v Stamford (6th)
Bedworth United (4th) v Chasetown (5th)

For those who don't know the system that well, home advantage goes to the team placed higher in a one-off match. So, if Stamford and Chasetown both won their play offs (as the table stands) then we would be at HOME to Stamford in the play off final.

Bedworth's defeat last night meant we are 3 points behind them and 1 goal worse off on goal difference.

A win on Saturday for Chasetown would guarantee we finish above Leek and Cleethorpes in at least 7th. If we win and Lincoln lose on Saturday (they are away at Basford) we would guarantee a play off place on Saturday.
