Because early January can bring some pretty nasty weather, Nooga Rugby has rented out the D1 Sports Complex (7300 Commons Blvd) for the first week of practice so that we can have full sessions without having the outside weather play a factor.

D1 Sports, located near the Home Depot off Gunbarrel Road by the Hamilton Place Mall offers an indoor, artificial turf field with enough space to run a full rugby practice (including contact). Given this, our team will practice here the first week of practice only. This covers Tuesday, January 17th and Thursday, January 19th.

The other difference in our practice schedule, however, will be that practice will be from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm. Yes, this is later than normal, but it's the only time slot available at D1 on Tuesday and Thursday. After this first week, all practices will be back outside at the practice football field at East Ridge High School and will take place during our normal practice times, 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm.
