Luke Callander has left Chelmsford City by mutual consent.

Cally, whose goals went a long way to keeping City up last season, has agreed with manager Mark Hawkes that it's time for him to move on.

Mark Hawkes said
"I am sorry to see Luke go as he has played for me for the last four years. We are good friends and remain so but there are private reasons behind our decision and we both agree it is the right move. He has enjoyed his time at the Club and his goals last season were vital in keeping Chelmsford in the Conference South for this season."

Luke played 33 times for City scoring 12 goals.

The Club wish to express their thanks to Luke and wish him all the best for the future.
