Chelmsford City Football Club and Chelmsford City Supporters' Club are delighted to announce that Alistair Whipps has been offered the role of a Supporters' Club Representative and will be joining Simon Stancevic at future Football Club Board meetings. This is of course subject to ratification at the September 2014 Board Meeting.

Trevor Smith, Chelmsford City FC Chairman believes that that with the appointment of Alistair it will further strengthen the Supporters' Club role in the running of the Football Club: "I am delighted that Alistair is able to join our team and his appointment will further enhance the Football Club board's current structure. Alistair has also offered to cover the role of the Club's HR and Legal position in a consultant capacity. He has the necessary skills in both of these disciplines, which is something we have been sadly lacking and I am very much looking forward to working with Alistair in the very near future."

Simon Stancevic, the current Supporters' Club Representative feels this is a great decision by the Football Club board: "I am delighted that the board have agreed to another Supporters' Club Representative, this will allow the Football Club Board and the Supporters' Club to further build upon it's ever improving relationship as we all aim to work together to improve our great Football Club"

Speaking about his appointment Alistair says "I am honoured to be asked to attend board meetings as a Supporters' Club Representative and am looking forward to assisting Simon carry on the work that he has been doing as the sole Supporters' Club Representative and with Trevor and the team in the HR and Legal capacity.”
