U11’s manager Rachel Gay set up a Fundraiser for the u11’s in Tesco to help fund the cost of taking the Mini Chieftains and the Mini Warriors to the summer tournament in Sheffield.

From 10 am till 4 pm the players offered to help pack people’s shopping in the Springfield Rd Tesco. Having stopped allowing this type of fundraising due to a misbehaving Scout group our 11’s needed to be on their best behaviour. I’m pleased to say they were incredibly well behaved and well mannered. They were all a credit to the academy.

They successfully raised over £500 and handed out countless stickers to the children visiting to promote our learn to play courses and the academy.

Thank you to all those that’s took part and the parents that stayed and helped.
