Roddwell Veteran 10s - Introduction
Cheltenham Civil Service RFC organise an annual 10-a-side tournament for veteran teams.
The first tournament was held (1997) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the club, and was won by CCSRFC. This team was managed, and included local ledgend Paul Roddwell.
This Vet's 10s Tournament has continued to run on an annual basis, supported by Gulliver's Sports Travel, and the trophy is named in memory the late Paul Roddwell, whose family are still and integral part of the Cheltenham Civil Service RFC.
The current holders of the 'Paul Roddwell Cup' are Smiths RFC.
