MONDAY 1 SEPTEMBER – 7-9PM - 1873 SUITE AT GLOUCESTER RUGBY KINGSHOLM – open to all GRFU clubs although it is hoped to run another in the south of the county very soon.

This course will take the form of a presentation and Q&A session which forms part of the RFU “Don’t be a Headcase” Campaign and will cover the following:

· The current concussion landscape
· What is concussion
· Concussion in rugby:
o Prevention
o Management – RECGONSE-REMOVE-RECOVER-RETURN
o RFU Guidelines
· RFU concussion awareness and education

It will take about 45 mins for the presentation and will be followed by the Q&A discussion.

You are asked to encourage as many members of your coaching staff and players to attend and I would appreciate it if you could just let me know how many people you think can do so. We are not restricted to small numbers for this so the more people that attend the better informed your club will be.
